Photoshop is the most popular image-editing software on the internet, but due to its expensive price, even now Adobe is moving to monthly and annual subscription instead of one-time purchase.
Anyways, here are my best alternatives for Adobe Photoshop, and of course they are free
My First software for image-editing is Paint.NET which is a light-weight software that covers the essentials for basic image-editing like applying color gradient and resizing image and canvas, but it's only compatible with Microsoft Windows operating systems

My Second software for image-editing is GIMP. This is an amazing software that includes so many tools for designers where they can apply so many image filters and modify color levels

My last message is that pirating softwares is not cool and it infringe copyrights. There are always ambitious people who like to help the community by creating free open-source softwares
